Teléfonos contra el crimen
La policía de Tokio, que emplea teléfonos móviles para intercambiarse rápidamente fotografías de sospechos y escenas de crímenes, así como información sobre investigaciones:
‘When I need photos of wanted crime suspects, I can easily receive them by e-mail without having to go to headquarters,’ one investigator said.
This month the Metropolitan Police Department introduced another 5,250 cell phones so that all of its 101 stations can access information stored at police headquarters.
